THE DOYLE SAILS WARRANTY
Across the globe Doyle Sails employs over 560 people, with more than 50 lofts, all living and breathing our ethos ‘Global leaders,Local Experts’ - we will ensure that your sail fits your boat, be designed to the correct shape and ultimately function as it is meant to - plus we will help you take care of it. We take pride in our expert knowledge, quality workmanship and extensive global loft network, ensuring that you receive nothing but the best wherever your sailing may take you.
DESIGNED TO FIT
Your sail will be designed to fit your boat - every effort will be made to measure your yacht to ensure that the sail measurements are correct. If a Doyle representative measures your boat, you can always guarantee that the primary two dimensional measurements of the sail (luff, leech, foot and clew height) will be right, although if for any unexpected reason your sail does not fit, we will make all of the necessary arrangements to fix the sail for no additional cost within the first year of sail ownership.
DESIGNED TO WORK
Your sail will be designed and built to work for your boat - meaning that the sail will go up and down the sail track and be compatible with all other relative systems and functions of your yacht (i.e hydraulic winches, reef cars, battens etc). If for any unexpected reason your sail does not work, and it is not a result of failure or malfunction of a system or function on the yacht, we will make all of the necessary arrangements to fix the sail for no additional cost within the first year of sail ownership.
QUALITY WORKMANSHIP & MATERIALS
Doyle Sails only sources and manufactures high quality materials ensuring that our strict production standards are met globally. If for any unexpected reason your sail does not meet these high standards, we will make all necessary arrangements to fix the sail for no additional cost within the first year of sail ownership.
Manufacturers Warranty: STRATIS Membranes:
All Stratis membranes receive a 3 year warranty on the membrane - providing the sail is serviced annually. If an issue arises with your Stratis membrane within the first three years of ownership, we will make the necessary arrangements to fix the sail at no additional cost.
Manufacturers Warranty: DELTA Membranes:
All Delta membranes receive a 2 year warranty on the membrane - providing the sail is serviced annually. If an issue arises with your Delta membrane within the first two years of ownership, we will make the necessary arrangements to fix the sail at no additional cost.
SAIL SET UP
Once your new Doyle sail is complete and ready to be fitted to your yacht, one of our dedicated Doyle Sails experts will be on hand to ensure that this process goes as smoothly as possible each and every time. As often as possible, this will also include a sea trial, however this is not always feasible for a number of reasons. During this process, it is a great opportunity to learn about the best way to set up, handle and care for your sail.
DURABILITY & STAMINA
Doyle Sails produce some of the most durable sails in the world and will always be built specifically to suit your purpose. If for any unexpected reason your sail structurally fails and the sail has been used within the sails specific range and not as a result of a system malfunction (i.e. hydraulic winch) we will make all of the necessary arrangements to fix the sail for no additional cost within the first year of sail ownership. The purpose of your sail and the intended usage will be extensively discussed between yourself and your local expert to ensure that your sail is built for purpose.
